I just read this article byTechcrunch - Twitter abandoning Rails.

If you have read my thoughts about Django and Rails earlier you know that I’m quite interested in this at the moment, and I’m still having trouble choosing ether one of them. I’ve been going in between both, but this kind of puts another extra weight on the Django side. Though it’s really way to early to know whether Django has the same problem or not. I guess that I have to choose soon, otherwise there will show up something new and then I’ll start doing all this again.

Anywho, scalability is obviously something that you always have to put into consideration, at least if you have any aspirations about your site.

I’ll give you a link to the site I’m working on at the moment in a couple of weeks when I actually have something to show. That site is at the moment getting developed in Django, so there you pretty much have my answere what I’m going to choose.
