Bored

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008

Been studying for a test tomorrow all day, and am really bored. It’s not really hard, it’s just a shitload that you need to read, which sucks, and takes a long time.

Anyway, today I’m probably going to deploy my first customer site, and that’s exciting anyway.

You know what? I’ll tell you all about it when it’s done! :)

PUA - To master picking up girls

Monday, September 8th, 2008

I don’t know if you ever have heard about the concept of PUAs, also known as pick up artists. This was a fairly hidden community until Niel Strauss, a.k.a. known as Style in the community, wrote the book the game a couple of years ago.

Anyway, I’ve been intreagued about the whole concept for quite a while, does it really work, do people actually act that way? Can you actually map people so easely? Girls act that way and men that way, and if you act this way then you’ll be more successfull with women.

The biggest group out there at the moment that I know of is the ones following the Mystery Method, read it and say what you think.

Anyway, the reason why I’m talking about this is because a couple of month ago I met this dude in class that said that he was one of the best PUAs in Sweden. At that I said that I wanted him to teach me, and so now a couple of month later we actually hit it off, and had a bootcamp for a weekend. I don’t know if it’s the right word, but unfortuneatly for the camp, I’ve met this great gal, so I didn’t really see the point of having the camp. But what the heck, it could be fun just to see what it was all about, and we had booked the weekend a while back.

So we started on Wednesday and had a couple of hours lectures on how to act, and then we hit the club. Drinking modestly, because  a PUA doesn’t get drunk. I started off opening some sets, and just getting the basics. Along the way he kept noting stuff done that I did, so we could talk about it the day after. Nothing that exiting happened, that day and I can tell you I was still quite sceptic towards the whole idea.

Day two we had some more lecturing, but mostly we talked about the day before and made up a new opener for me. (Here is a opener to make you get the feel of what it is: opener, written by Style)

After that a friend of my tutor came and we went to the bar together, and today we did a bit more of sarging (which is a nickname for the actuall act of picking up). Opening some sets and just having fun talking to people. And that’s when I realized that what I was doing actually was really fun, and not with the goal to fuck, but to meet new people! I was walking around in the bar, talking to people I’ve never talked to before and just having a blast.

Anyway, that was a short story about what happened during my first bootcamp, we are going to have more. And if I feel like it I will write about them here too! :)

Over and out.

Starting again

Friday, April 25th, 2008

Hey, I’m still alive.

I’ve actually been thinking about bringing down this blog, not really been that much in the mood to write about anything. During the trip it was fun to write about the stuff I was doing, and about the people I met. But today there just urge to tell people about myself anymore. So I could just bring the thing down.

But, there is always a but, I realized that I’m doing quite a few cool things at the moment, and if I could write down my thoughts and then return to them to see how it all developed later, that would actually be kind of cool.

So I decided to give it a new try, and let’s see what happens.

So from now on I’m going to write about my daily stuff, and hopefully it’s going to be interesting enough to get a bit of a following.

So here is the list of what I’m doing right now, and probably what I’ll be writing the most about in the near future.

  • Starting a company
  • Working at Twingly
  • Studying
  • Building a house
  • Head of the board of INUG Linköping
  • Training
  • Working in a student union pub (Flamman)
  • Meeting new people
  • Reading

I’ll be back, and I’ll hopefully be keeping this up.

That’s enough for today!

Bye Bye Bye Bye

No sleep

Wednesday, January 9th, 2008

Been studying so hard, but not really been able to get to bed until about 1 am, and then up at 7, it kind of hard to stay focused the whole day after that.

Need to change my daily  routines so I can feel rested during the days. But I just kind of don’t get tired at night, because there is so much fun to do, but at school, and what I’m studying right now it’s more or less bullshit to me.

Anyways, I’m just rumbling about nothing. Going to sell my gymcard today, just realized how boring it is, going to stick with running and just some basic training at home. Cant get to much muscles while I’m preparing for Marathon.

Anyhow, write you when I’m in a more sober mood.

Dinner with buddies

Monday, January 7th, 2008

Some friends just left the apartment after a nice evening of spinning and dinner.

José is a spinning instructor so she invited us for a spin, haha, it’s a lot harder than you would think :)
I couldn’t do the same thing as everybody else because my knee was bugging me again, but I kept on doing my thing and actually ended up quite tired to.

After that we headed to the store to get some groceries and made a sweet dinner of home made meatballs, sauce, potatoes and jam.

Am sitting here with a glass of whiskey and just enjoying life.

Think I’m going to get some ice cream too, and then hit the sack.

Hope you guys had a nice day :)

Some redecoration

Sunday, January 6th, 2008

Got some studying done today, feels really good to be back actually, and I’m doing good to, so that’s probably a good reason. Lets just hope that it’s enough to pass the test, I can feel that I’m a bit rusty from the time off.

Anyway got back home fairly early today, and tried to get some food from the store, but what I didn’t know is that it is some sort of holiday today, so everything was closed by the time I got to the store. But I was lucky, the fast food store "Saigon" beside the store was open. I grabbed some Thi-food and went home, by the time I was famished and gulped it down in about 3 min. After that with some help from Niklas I redecorated the apartment a bit and got some stuff out of the way. It’s getting really cosy here actually.

After that we Niklas made some really fat pie, that we also did gulp down in no time, so it felt like it was time to go for a run.

I did a short one today, 5 k, since I’ve been out the last two days and done some quite long runs. The feeling when you are done is great! It takes a while, but when you get the feeling that you have to get out and do something you feel really relieved when it’s done and you cant wait until the next time you are out there. Don’t really know how do describe the feeling, but you should give it a try :)

I’ll tell you more about my training later, it’s looking good for the Marathon anyway, and I’m actually looking forward to it, crazy huh.

Anyways, I’ll write a bit more tomorrow about my training plans.

Marathon workup

Monday, November 12th, 2007

Today a renewed my membership at the gym and got through my first body workout in quite a while, probably in more than a year. And yeah I can feel it. But it feels good!

I’m going to start moving up my training a notch, so I’ll be fit for the Marathon, but first I’ll have a couple of goals that I need to accomplish. First of all I need to sign up for it, and then I’m going to sign up for the Vasaloppet, it’s a 90 km ski (flat surface) tournament. I still don’t know which one of them is the hardest one, but I guess I’ll know at the end of this year.

Work is going fine, at mobispine I’ve really defined my job, and it feels really good to know what I’m supposed to sink my teeth in to every day.

At VentureZone I’m at the moment moving on with the planning of the Rookiedays, which is an entreprenourshipday at the University, dedicated for students that are thinking or planing on starting their own business.

More about that in a while.

Watched a movie yesterday that a sibling to a friend of mine made, it was really good, it was shown on the cinema a last Saturday, unfortunately I wasn’t able to be there, but I saw it yesterday at her place, and it was really awesome!

Congrats dude!

A bit of running

Monday, October 8th, 2007

For you who don’t know I have started my training for next years Marathon, yesterday I was out and my knee popped, but went out today anyways, it went alright, so I guess it wasn’t that bad. But I’ll see how I am tomorrow, this morning I could barely get out of bed.

Had my first meeting with my new boss today, he just got me in the loop, so I know what my job is going to be all about. Tomorrow we are having a meeting to talk abit about my first assignment. It’s going to be sweet to get about doing something again.

Otherwise I’ve been studying for my test next Monday, it’s Mathematical Statistics, not really my first choice of course, but it’s one of the compulsory ones. So it has to be done.

That’s all for now.

Moving in party

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007

So yesterday I had a bit of a gettogether with some friends that I haven’t really met for a long while. And we had a awesome time! My sisters were here too, though the younger one couldn’t really keep up :)

Anyhow, a friend of mine has moved in for a couple of weeks too, so at the moment we are too in the apartment, and it works alright.

Today I have been to a workinterview again, and tomorrow I’m going to an other. It’s the 3rd one tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to have a job, to start working decent hours again. At the moment I’m most doing short jobs a couple of times a week. But hey, it’s money, and I have to pay the rent.

I’ve also been arranging the courses I’m about to take the next semester. I know pretty well what I want to do. More about that coming up later.

Getting settled

Wednesday, September 26th, 2007

It takes a while to get settled, you know how you have to find the spot for you tee cup, where are you going to hang that painting, and where are you going to have that lamp.
All questions that are so obvious when you have been living at a place for a while, but when you just moved in you kind of have to ease it in. I’m not done yet, but I have found a couple of spots to hang lamps, and I for certain know where my tee cup is going to be.

Today was my first day off in a while, so yesterday we went to HG (a student union pub), to see what they had to offer on a Tuesday, it was actually kind of crap. But it had to be tested, and now I know. And since I was off today I took this morning in bed, and after that I went down town to meet up with some buddies and spend some hard earned money. I bought a new chins-bar, for my biceps and a pair of new running pants so I can keep on running even when it gets colder.

Oh, today I have been configuring the computer quite a bit to, and you know what, it was worth it, it doesn’t sound like a Boeing any more!

Tomorrow it’s work again, and on Friday it’s moving in party, I’ll tell you more about that later.

Over and out.
